As known Marek Hamsik is participating Charity Diamond Auction. Swiss diamond producer Augenstern Diamonds will cultivate a diamond from his hair to be auctioned. Auction earnings will help specific patients with Multiple Sclerosis disease.
„ I must say, I was very supriced when I was addressed by company,“ Marek stated. „And well I was pleasantly supriced that I am the person whom hair will be used for production of a diamond. And what is my attitude to charity? I can't say no. It doesn't matter if giving money or being a guest on charity event. For me the most important thing about charity is a chance to help disabled people,“ slovak football player added.

However, this not the first case of Marek's help. „Privately, not officially I help almost always,“ Marek stated. He participated the big charity event for the first time in summer 2008. In that time he became one of the patrons Slovak Hemophillia Association. „19.6. 2011 it will be fouth volume of sport event called Slovak Sport Stars for children. I hope we will collect money for children with diseases,“ Marek added.
